Description

IsZEB HygroThermal is a smart Interactive system, aiming to model the thermal behavior of structural elements, taking into account the effect of the humidity of the individual materials (hygrothermal behavior)

After analyzing the existing tools, methodologies and new specifications, the new platform will be designed that will be fully harmonized with the current legislations but will also introduce new concepts and technologies, offering a more techno-economically holistic approach.

Main characteristics

The software will be consisted of a support system (backend) and an online platform (frontend) for end users. The user will be able to select data and properties of the building materials either through an online "library", or will be able to enter the properties of the building materials of his choice. After appropriate calculations, the software will showcase in characteristic diagrams the representative results for the important parameters of the problem, such as the temperature and humidity profile, the heat flow and the estimation of cost and energy savings.

Finally, the system will have the ability to connect to either thermographic cameras or moisture sensors that will allow the model to be evaluated in terms of the accuracy of its predictions.
