New educational event on the topic of the Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI)

IsZEB is organizing a two-day educational event and workshop titled "Smart Readiness Indicator for Buildings and Its practical application in the nZEB Smart Home of CERTH/ITI." 

The assessment of SRI is based on the common methodology of the European Union, which rates the smart readiness of building units in their ability to perform three fundamental functions:

• Optimizing their energy performance and overall efficiency during use.
• Adapting their operation to the tenant's needs.
• Adapting to signals from the grid (e.g., energy flexibility).

Objectives & Thematic Areas

To promote the process of the decision-making based on the Smart Readiness Indicator during the construction/reconstruction of buildings, it is essential to foster an understanding of the benefits that arise from its assessment. Therefore, the goal of this seminar is to raise awareness and inform building users, assessors/engineers/energy inspectors, as well as providers of smart services about the SRI.

Contents

• Basic principles of SRI (Definition, EN 15232 Standard, Current Framework in Greece and the EU).
• Detailed methodology for calculating SRI (Method A, Method B).
• SRI services for the 9 technical sectors (Heating, Cooling, Hot Water Usage, Ventilation, Lighting, Building Envelope Dynamics, Electrical Energy, Electric Vehicle Charging, Monitoring and Control).
• Presentation of the IsZEB "SRI Calculator" and Calculation of the SRI of the nZEB Smart Home of CERTH/ITI

Dates: The educational event will be conducted in person on the following dates and times::

• Wednesday, 9/27, 17:00-19:00
• Thursday, 9/28, 17:00-19:00

Total participation cost: 20 euros + VAT (with invoice issuance).
