IsZEB is organizing a two-day educational event and workshop titled "Smart Readiness Indicator for Buildings and Its practical application in the nZEB Smart Home of CERTH/ITI." The training will be conducted in real-time at the facilities of CERTH in Thessaloniki (6th km Charilaou - Thermi, 57001), with physical attendance only, on predetermined days and times during the week. The lessons will be held in Greek
The assessment of SRI is based on the common methodology of the European Union, which rates the smart readiness of building units in their ability to perform three fundamental functions:
- Optimizing their energy performance and overall efficiency during use.
- Adapting their operation to the tenant's needs.
- Adapting to signals from the grid (e.g., energy flexibility).
To promote the process of the decision-making based on the Smart Readiness Indicator during the construction/reconstruction of buildings, it is essential to foster an understanding of the benefits that arise from its assessment. Therefore, the goal of this seminar is to raise awareness and inform building users, assessors/engineers/energy inspectors, as well as providers of smart services about the SRI.
Definition, EN 15232 Standard, Existing Framework in Greece and the EU
Presentation of the two main methods: Method A, Method B
Heating, Cooling, Domestic Hot Water, Ventilation, Lighting, Building Envelope Efficiency, Electrical Energy, Electric Vehicle Charging, Monitoring and Control
An in-depth reference will be made about the inventory of the smart ready services that can be available in a building, i.e., the SRI Methodology smart – ready services catalogue and the process of evaluating the smartness level with which each service is implemented in a building referred to as ‘functionality level’.
